Words to live by:

“Managers do things right. Leaders do the right things.”

Scott brings more than thirty years of healthcare leadership to IngenioRx, in roles ranging from operations and product leadership to systems development and process re-engineering, with a core focus on pharmacy benefit management (PBM).  Throughout, Scott is steadfastly focused on improving the experiences of our clients and members in this first-used, most-used benefit of the healthcare ecosystem.

As Chief Operating Officer, Scott leads a broad array of core PBM functions, delivering exceptional service while putting members at the center of all we do.  His responsibilities include pharmacy claims processing, eligibility, benefit configuration, and clinical operations, as well as member contact centers, prior authorizations, and home delivery pharmacy areas.   Scott is also responsible for account operations and client implementations for our Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare lines of business.

Scott has held a long and distinguished career, with prior executive leadership roles at leading pharmacy benefit management organizations, including Magellan Rx Management, Aetna Pharmacy Management, Express Scripts, and Medco Health.  These roles have consistently focused on operational effectiveness, delivering differentiated service offerings, leading large organizations, and leveraging technology to derive significant business value.

Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, with a concentration in MIS, from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Born and raised in Virginia and a loyal UVA fan, Scott, his wife, and their silver Labrador Kallie recently relocated back to Virginia. They have three sons, ranging from 22 to 30.
